This is a recessed contact for use with doors and other hinged or otherwise separated door and panels. The 3030 has 2 set screw terminals for connecting. This switch should be used for control only, it is not rated for direct switching of a load. Connect to our closet light relay, other relay or control system. The 3030 is a Normally Closed contact, meaning when used in a door application when it's separated from it's other magnetic half, the internal switch closes and lights come on. Typically opens when within 1/2" of the magnetic half. Mounts in a 3/8" holes & paint-able.
